Meanwhile it would appear that Greece’s Finance Minister is not doing too badly for himself?

A big thank you to everyone that sent messages, posted comments, attended the funeral of my Father and contributed to the Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital collection which on the day raised £300.
To say I was in a great deal of pain and distress at the funeral is an understatement. The aftermath has been one of reflection and regret. I remember all the good times with great affection and regret the missed opportunities to do more together. I so wish we had more time together.
Time moves on and despite having a somber Christmas (my first ever without my Dad on Christmas day) and New Year’s Eve, I am gradually coming to terms with the need to get on with my life and try to improve my relationships with my children, by which I mean spend more quality time together and not take for granted that they will have me tomorrow.
Life is a funny old thing, it is something that we should all cherish and not take for granted.

For the first time in 21 years I will not be at an Arsenal vs Manchester United 1st team fixture (all competitions). You may ask if it is to do with the current stagnant waters at Arsenal and my overall disillusionment with the Arsene and the Board? Well no actually, it's just that I am on holiday and not due back in England until Wednesday. When I booked the holiday it was pre-fixtures announcement so please forgive me for being disappointed and feeling quite gutted. I will of course be watching the game and as always I will be 100% behind the players, as should we all. No matter what is going on within the Club, the players and coaching staff deserve our full support during the games. Now come on Arsenal, do the Bizo.
