Rafa Comparisons

In the last 6 seasons Rafa has led Liverpool to Champions League and F.A. Cup Victory. During that time Liverpool also finished runners-up in the Premier League, League Cup and Champions League. In the meantime Arsenal have won the F.A. Cup whilst also finishing runners-up in the Premier League, Champions League and League Cup. In terms of their respective League positions both Clubs have finished above the other 3 times each. The overall performance of both teams and managers comes down to Liverpool having the edge in terms of trophies (and what a trophy, the Champions League) whilst Arsenal have qualified for the Champions League 6/6 to Liverpool's 5/6 by virtue of their failure to qualify this year. If Rafa's achievements are not good enough for Liverpool then I would suggest that Arsene's record is not good enough for Arsenal.

What on earth is Fabio Capello thinking?

How could Capello leave out Theo Walcott? Theo has so much potential and is so young. What if in one game he actually managed to play as well as his club manager thinks he could play? What a load of nonsense to play people who perform as well as they can today and not what they might one day be able to perform like. If Fabio continues with this policy he might actually win the tournament. Ok so the supporters would be ecstatic but think of all those poor young players that will have missed out on an opportunity to hopefully show the world how good they might one day be even if it was at the expense of England. Tut, Tut Mr Hat.
